The Center for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science (CLE) is pleased to inform that its members Prof. Dr. Walter Alexandre Carnielli and Prof. Dr. Juliana Bueno-Soler received the 2022 edition of the "Newton da Costa" Logic Award, promoted by the Brazilian Society of Logic (SBL), for the unpublished article “Where the truth lies: a paraconsistent approach to Bayesian epistemology”.

The Center for Logic, Epistemology and History of Science (CLE) communicates, with deep regret and consternation, the death of its Member, Prof. Dr. Francesco (Franco) Trevisani, Professor of History of Medicine at the University of Roma Tre, Italy, which occurred on October 7, 2022, at the age of 80. Through this note, the CLE Board records its most sincere condolences to family and friends for the loss of a combative critical thinker and generous human being.
